My poem 'Value Your Time' aims to encapsulate the immutable essence of time and our inevitable journey through it. I underscore time's relentless, unalterable nature and our place within its unfathomable expanse in this brief yet profound piece.
The first lines, "You can never waste time, You can never make time," confront a common misconception. Time, being an unchanging and ever-advancing phenomenon is beyond our control. It cannot be created, nor can it be wasted. It merely exists, and we exist within it, bound by its unyielding march.
The subsequent lines, "When time allows, your life will go on. When the time comes, your life will be gone," illustrate the all-encompassing life cycle within time constraints. Our existence continues as time permits, and just as inevitably, it ends when our time is up.
The central idea behind 'Value Your Time' is to recognize time as an unstoppable force that guides our existence. It is neither our adversary nor our ally but a constant, impartial companion on our life journey. Recognizing this reality enables us to appreciate the present moment truly and make the most of our time here.
